Trader House Domas
House Motto: "Expectare et Sperare"
Flagship: The Montagne D'or
History:
The House Domas starts with one Lisandria Dontis. In the late M.29, she was set to gain power within a certain early Rogue Trader House. Unfortunately for her, several competing Captains and Seneschals did not approve of her promotion. They set into motion a plan which found her imprisoned for conspiring against the Imperium. She was sent to prison for 14 years until early Imperial Records show she died in imprisonment.
Several Years later, she reappeared, renamed Lady Edmurya Maquet, married to Lord Domas of Cristmont. During her absence, the Hektor Heresy had begun. Most of the conspirators against her had gained wealth, status and power under Hektor and continued to serve him during the Heresy. She used the wealth and influence of her husband, as well as an unknown yet vast amount of indeterminate origin and personal connections to void pirates, Adeptus Mechanicus officials, governing bodies and notable members of nobility to destroy each individual involved monetarily, influentially, societally, and physically. Some were driven to suicide. Others died by her hand. But when it was done she was the only one standing. More impressive was the fact that she managed to have her name cleared in the process.
At the end of the Heresy her actions proved to be extremely valuable towards weakening some of Hektor's forces. As such it was decided that her actions should not go unrewarded, and she was given a deed as a Rogue Trader.
House Domas in the 40th Millennium:
The house has increased exponentially through the years. They are currently one of the largest Rogue Trader houses. They have established contacts throughout the Planetary Governments, Adeptus Mechanicum, Ecclesiarchy, and Inquisition. They are primarily concerned with exploration and discovery. The house rarely seeks additional fame or glory and is mostly content to simply carry out their traditions. On occasion other Rogue Traders or other individuals have attempted to cross House Domas. Most simply take the legend that this is folly as their wealth and power crumbles to ash within their fingers, often directly into the coffers of House Domas at face value.

Re: Trader House Domas
To Clarify:
She clears her name of the crimes she was imprisoned for BEFORE the Heresy. With a combination of admissions of guilt and having physical evidence recovered from those who wronged her (IE, money trails, bribes, etc.).
