IRC chat for the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of August

Been kinda busy, but I still intend to be on around 10pm GMT.

Sorry for not showing up, I'm entertaining company from across the Atlantic. Probably won't get much writing done, but today I'm going to work towards completing SOMETHING.

It was a pretty quiet chat. Mostly just Merrill & me, with Aubrey checking in. A few ideas were bounced.

I should add - if this timeslot is bad for people, they should sing out and maybe we can reschedule.

I think the timezones for the anons we have make it impossible for everyone to be available at any time. I think the best we've had was week before last, the 22.00 GMT start iirc.

The only issues I face currently is the day, as I'm usually working Sunday or Saturday. I'm on early 5-7am shifts right now, so I need to be asleep by about 10pm latest to get any decent sleep in for the next day.

In that regard, I think the Skype group chat is best, as if you do miss something, you can still see it later (also meaning Brennus doesn't have to do minutes...), and it has phone access for those who aren't at home but cannot miss the chat.
It's not perfect mind, but that might alleviate the time-frame issues some, and also keep a rolling conversation going.

Alternatively, we could use this forum, though its limitations are clear from our experience on 4chan threads...

The timeslot is fine. This really is ridiculous circumstances keeping me away from the chats.

Would it be possible, just for this week, to hold the IRC on Friday at 19:00-20:00 GMT/UTC?

That'd be:
UK: ~20:00-21:00, Friday (we're in stupid daylight saving time)
New York: 15:00-16:00, Friday
LA: 12:00-13:00, Friday
Wellington, NZ: 7:00-8:00, Saturday

I ask, as I have a very early start Sunday, but I could stretch a few extra hours on the Friday as I have the Saturday off for once. I also have a lot I'd like to propose and discuss, as I'm sure some of you have too.

I'm concerned that the American contingent would be stuck at work during that timeslot. Also I don't like getting up that early on a Saturday.
