Re: Golgothos
This post is reserved. Bio, etc to come.
Please assist me by discussing:
Total fucking insanity due to growing up alone for ~30 years
Language quirks due to learning Gothic from Orks he avoids/kills
Timeframe of Golgothos' wounding and interment (early Crusade, late Crusade, mid-heresy, scouring, post heresy)
Cause of Golgothos' Interment.
Contrast of combat style and personality pre/post interment.
Opinions of other Primarchs/Equerry about him.
Death vs piloting battle barge into Eye of Terror vs cast into the Warp
Other ideas/criticism/etc

Re: Golgothos
If he picked up Low Gothic from Orks, he probably curses like one of the Boyz. His superior intellect would let him pick up high language fairly quickly, so that would be there when he needed it.
The idea of Golgothos as a kind of savage foundling isn't one that's been explored in depth. I think he'd have a complicated relationship with the Primarchs who grew up in more sophisticated surroundings (Hektor, Gaspard, Johannes, to some extent Alexandri). Obviously you want to motivate the enmity with Johannes, but perhaps it should be difficult rather than pals or enemies - like Johnny is the one who has to teach the wild thing to be a man, and he does a pretty good job but they don't bond over it? I also recommend a serious feud with Alexandri, if only because the Rosskan doesn't have anyone on the Loyalist side who really hates him back.

Re: Golgothos
I would think that internment actually brings out a few of Golgo's orkish tendencies. Before, because of his gauntness, Golgothos was likely not well suited for melee combat. But with the dreadnought shell he's reminiscent of a Mek boy, so he might well ape their tactics if he has ever seen one. Perhaps his skull-helm has a big jaw, either for decorative or combat purposes?Golgothos wrote:Contrast of combat style and personality pre/post interment.
